“…Young's modulus and shear modulus need to be reduced considerably to get numerical results in agreement with the experimental results. The values of elastic material properties reported in the literature are usually obtained from uniaxial compression tests on the masonry prisms and it is reported in a recent study [41] that the elastic properties obtained from prism tests are about 34% higher than those obtained from wallette tests. Thus, the reported values need to be reduced accordingly in the numerical simulation.…”
