Correlation of C-Reactive Protein and Severity of Peri-Implant Diseases

Abstract: Peri-implant disease pathogenesis is similar to periodontal disease pathogenesis resulting in production of pro-inflammatory mediators. These mediators are released during the inflammation phase, among which C-reactive protein (CRP) is one of the acute phase reactants.
