Abstract:Background: Metastatic brain tumors are a prevalent challenge in neurosurgery, with vasogenic edema being a significant consequence of these lesions. Despite the critical role of peritumoral edema in prognosis and patient outcomes, few studies have quantified its diagnostic and prognostic implications.
