“…18 Pathologic complete response (pCR) in the form of pT0N0M0 stage is clearly associated with a 55% lower risk of death and an 80% lower risk of recurrence compared with patients with any residual disease. 19 Among total number of 59 patients, pCR was observed in 15 specimens (25.4%), 20 (33.9%) showed pTa, pTis and pT1 disease, six were pT2 (10.2%), twelve were pT3 (20.3%) and six were pT4a (10.2%).
