“…Tryptophan along with water soluble vitamin niacin plays an important role in the brain as a precursor of the neurotransmitter serotonin, which has a major effect on the feeding behaviour of animals among its many functions (Blundell and Latham 1978;Tackman et al 1990;Mullen and Martin 1992;Coloso et al 2004).
