Correlation of the Protein to Creatinine Ratio with the 24-hour Urine Protein Level in Pregnancy Complicated by Hypertension

Abstract: Objectives: This study was undertaken to compare the urine protein to creatinine ratio with 24-hour urine protein estimation in pregnancy complicated by hypertension and to establish the cutoff value of the urine protein to creatinine ratio for predicting significant 24-hour proteinuria. Design: This is a comparative study and consists of a single group of 240 subjects.
