Correspondence on “Crystalline Porous Organic Salt for Ultrarapid Adsorption/Desorption‐Based Atmospheric Water Harvesting by Dual Hydrogen Bond System”
Abstract:In a recent Research Article, Ben and coworkers reported a hydrogen-bonded framework prepared from a 4 + tetra-amidinium component and a 4 À tetra-sulfonate component, termed CPOS-6. They showed that CPOS-6 could reversibly adsorb and desorb water over a narrow humidity window, and that this material offered potential for applications in atmospheric water harvesting. This conclusion was supported by experiments that showed the material was stable over 50 adsorption/desorption cycles and that the kinetics of th… Show more
“…This is similar in value to our findings for water adsorption in reforming charge-assisted hydrogen bonded organic frameworks. 32,33 To study the water vapour sorption performance in greater detail, we recorded repeated desorption-adsorption cycles in 10% RH increments between 50% and 0% RH. The data are presented as an isotherm in Fig.…”

A series of solvatomorphic structures of the anti-inflammatory drug diclofenac (dcfn¯) and the dense hydrogen bond donor propane-1,3-diaminium (H2pn2+) are reported. Single crystal X-ray diffraction shows each structure contains a...
