Abstract:Carbon dioxide is one of the possible working media for future advanced technologies in the power industry. Its use is possible in the supercritical state as a cooling medium in the nuclear power industry, as an extraction solvent, in the combustion of fossil fuels, in concentrating solar systems, or in CCS(Carbon Capture and Storage) processes.
