Corrosion Inhibition of Copper in 3% NaCl Solution by Derivative of Aminotriazole

Abstract: The inhibiting effect of N-decyl-3-amino-1,2,4-triazole (TN10) against Copper corrosion in aerated 3%NaCl, has been developed. Potentiodynamic measurements and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy have been applied to determine the corrosion rate. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) studied surface morphology has been also used to characterize electrode surface.
