Abstract:Using both theoretical and experimental techniques, the impact of Hesperidin methyl chalcone (HMC) on Aluminum corrosion in 0.5M H2SO4 was examined at various temperatures. Measurements of weight loss revealed that the inhibitory efficiency rises with rising HMC concentrations and falls with rising temperatures. An inhibitor's overall rising inhibitory efficacy is ascribed to the bulk of the solution's adsorption onto the aluminum surfaces.
