Cortical hyperexcitability and disease spread in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

Abstract: Cortical hyperexcitability appears to be more prominent over the dominant motor cortex, contralateral to the side of symptom onset, and contributes to a contiguous pattern of spread in sporadic ALS.
