Abstract:This paper presents an innovative and cost-effective solution for the absolute localization of mobile robots using ultrasound beacons. The proposed system addresses the challenge of precise positioning within a controlled environment by employing Differential Time-of-Flight (ToF) measurements to determine the relative distances between the robot and optimally placed beacons.
