Cost-effectiveness analysis of gemtuzumab ozogamicin for the treatment of de novo CD33-positive Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) in Italy

Abstract: Background Based on the results from the ALFA-0701 study, gemtuzumab ozogamicin (GO) has been approved by the European Medicine Agency and by the Italian Drug Agency for the first line treatment of de novo acute-myeloid leukemia (AML).
