Abstract: Background Based on the results of the phase III randomized 20120215 trial, the European Medicines Agency granted the approval of blinatumomab for the treatment of pediatric patients with high-risk first-relapsed Philadelphia chromosomenegative B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
