Could native T1 mapping replace late gadolinium enhancement in the assessment of myocardial fibrosis in patients with cardiomyopathy?

Abstract: Background Cardiomyopathy is a myocardial disease, which usually demonstrates improper ventricular morphology, function, or both. It is classified into two classes based on the organ involved. Primary cardiomyopathy is confined mainly to the myocardium and can be genetic, non-genetic, or acquired.
