Abstract:Semiconductor-sensitized thermal cells (STCs), which generate electricity by converting the photoexcitation of dyes in a dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) into thermal excitation in a semiconductor, have attracted attention as a new thermal energy conversion technology.
