Coupled bending torsional vibrations of viscoelastic rotors with fractional damper

Abstract: The behavior of a Jeffcott rotor with lateral-torsional coupling is investigated in the presence of internal and external damping and eccentricity. The governing equations are derived based on the Lagrange method. Also, the Laplace method and linearization is used to solve the governing equations for free vibrations analysis.
