Abstract

The Cover Feature shows two enzymatic routes for the valorization of glycerol via phosphate transfer. Glycerol‐1‐phosphate can be obtained by transphosphorylation using pyrophosphate and acid phosphatase or through a condensation reaction between monophosphate and crude glycerol catalyzed by phytase.
