COVID-19 and Solidarity to Alleviate Hunger

Abstract: According to the United Nations Human Rights Office of the High Commissioner, solidarity can be defined as ties binding individuals or groups of individuals together for a common shared purpose. It can cut across any theme or topic including climate change, financing, poverty, and hunger. Hunger can be described as the lack or absence of food leading to weakness, discomfort, or uncomfortable sensations.
