Abstract:COVID‑19‑associated osteomyelitis is a purulo‑necrotic complication of past coronaviral infection. The majority of described cases of this complication are caused by Mucorales fungi. Mucormycosis is a severe complication of COVID‑19 associated with high mortality rate. Most commonly it affects maxillary sinuses, facial bones, and orbits.
