“…Além dos danos à saúde já conhecidos, a pandemia pode ser considerada um evento traumático, sobretudo nos grupos que vivem em situação de desvantagem social devido ao preconceito e discriminação, como é o caso dos LGBTQIA+ (Bordiano & Liberal & Lovisi & Abelha). Assim, o cenário pandêmico gerou graves consequências para saúde mental desses indivíduos, os quais passaram a vivenciar com mais frequência a insônia, depressão, medo, raiva, abuso de substâncias e transtorno do estresse pós-traumático (Bordiano, et al, 2021) Dentre os estudos populacionais já realizados sobre implicações na saúde mental diante da pandemia do novo coronavírus, destaca-se o de Wang et al (2020) com a população geral na China, incluindo 1.210 participantes em 194 cidades, durante o estágio inicial da pandemia. Esse estudo revelou sintomas moderados a severos de ansiedade, depressão e estresse, em 28,8%, 16,5% e 8,1% dos respondentes, respectivamente.…”
