COVID-19, caused by the severe acute respiratory distress syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), triggered a massive global health crisis, with its impact extending far beyond respiratory symptoms. There is a growing body of evidence linking the virus to a plethora of cutaneous complications. From its role in immune dysregulation to its adverse effects on wound healing, the virus's potential to not only impact dermal physiology but to manifest directly with a variety of dermatologic presentations has been noted in literature.
