“…RO is in the differential diagnosis of multiple cranial nerve palsies. 10 However, compression of optic nerves secondary to narrowing of optic canals is extremely rare in RO. There is only one prior report of optic nerve compression as a result of RO 2 in a patient who was treated with high-dose corticosteroids followed by optic canal decompression surgery for one eye, which resulted in significant visual field restoration.…”
