Abstract

one life task will definitely help to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching mathematics to modern adolescents. Examples of the use of project-integrated teaching of mathematics to students of 5-6 grades are given. The expediency and efficiency of using the elements of STEM-education during the teaching of mathematics of 5-6 grades are substantiated. Thus, the introduction of elements of STEM-education in the process of teaching mathematics to students in grades 5-6 will greatly contribute to the formation of students' culture of designing their own learning activities to solve life problems.
