Creative album of the 30–40s of the twentieth century as a source on the history of architecture and art of Kyrgyzstan (based on the materials of P.P. Ivanov's personal archive)

Abstract

The article is devoted to the creative album of the 30-40s of the twentieth century from the personal archive of P.P. Ivanov, one of the first professional architects of Kyrgyzstan and one of the founders of architectural education in the republic. The main content of the album consists of samples of Kyrgyz felt ornamented carpets-shirdaks and architectural decor of the Dungan folk dwelling, as well as their creative interpretations of cultural heritage in the architecture of this period, which makes it a valuable source on the history of architecture and decorative and applied arts of Kyrgyzstan.
