Creative tourism: catalysing artisan entrepreneur networks in rural Portugal

Abstract: Purpose:Given limited research about how artisans become integrated into tourism, this paper investigates the emergence of artisan entrepreneur-mediators who link artisans to tourism in rural areas and small cities in Portugal.
