Abstract:Postnatal growth of the very low birth weight infantTo establish a postnatal growth chart for very low birth weight (VLBW) infants, data obtained from 1 26 breast milk fed VLBW patients in actual follow up was studied. For the analysis of results infants were divided in three groups accordingly to birth weight (BW): A (BW 650 to 1000 g); B (BW 1001 to 1200 g) and C (BW 1201 to 1500 g).
