Abstract:The Songliao Basin is one of the largest non-marine oil and gas bearing basins that developed during the Cretaceous period, recording an almost complete Cretaceous stratigraphy. With the oil and gas exploration, as well as the Continental Scientific Drilling Project of Cretaceous Songliao Basin (CCSD-SK) (2006-2021), significant progress has been made on the stratigraphy of the Songliao Basin.
