‘Crimelordism’: Understanding a New Phenomenon in Armed Banditry in Nigeria

Abstract: Armed banditry is prevalent in Nigeria. It has competed with insurgency for the soul of Nigeria’s national security. Contemporary trajectories of armed banditry in Nigeria have been full of complications.
