Criteria Dependences to Calculate the Process of Extracting Humic Acids from Peat and Vermicompost in a Rotary Pulse Apparatus

Abstract: The regularities of the process of extraction of humic acids (HA) from peat and vermicompost in a rotary pulse apparatus (RPA) have been investigated. It was found that to calculate the mass transfer coefficient, it is necessary to determine the specific power and the values of the Prandtl diffusion criterion; with an increase in the time (number of cycles) of suspension treatment in the RPA, the calculated values of the Prandtl criterion increase and the mass transfer coefficient decreases; the mass transfer … Show more

“…One of the ways to modify the structure of humic acids is mechanical treatment of humic substances, which makes it possible to change their structure, content of functional groups, and molecular weight [36][37][38]. The purpose of this work is a comparative change and study of the physicochemical properties of humic substances obtained from brown coals of the Karazhyra, Ekibastuz, and Kyzyl-Kiya deposits after hydrodynamic treatment in a rotary-pulsation apparatus.…”
