Criteria for Screening Diabetes Mellitus Using Serum Fructosamine Level and Fasting Plasma Glucose Level

Abstract: Abstract:A screening method using serum fructosamine level and the fasting plasma glucose level was used for screening patients with diabetes mellitus. The criteria for positive tests recommended by the Japanese Society of Multiphasic Health Testing and Services were evaluated.
