Criteria for the management of a sustainable and safe positioning of the fleet in the conditions of globalization

Abstract: Purpose. To develop a model of minimizing transportation risks for strengthening the criteria for sustainable and safe positioning of the fleet. Methodology. Scientific research, whose results are given in the presented article, is performed using both general and special methods of cognition. Methods of quantitative and qualitative comparison, content analysis, scientific abstraction and systematization and the method of mathematical formalization were used. Findings. An algorithm of a criterion-based app… Show more

“…Some issues of the management practice of port industry enterprises are highlighted in the research of Primachev and Primacheva (2017), Nikolaieva et al (2019), Golubkova et al (2021). Parola et al (2017) and Talley et al (2014) contributed significantly to developing the port operation system management, substantiation and improving theoretical foundations.…”

“…Primachev, & Frasinyuk (2019) considered the problems of sustainable development of subsystems of the global maritime transport industry, and provided tools for managing the results of fleet and port development from an integration perspective. Golubkova et al (2021) paid attention to the economic mechanisms of merchant shipping development in Ukraine and the world's maritime complex, identified the features of maritime industry management in the context of globalization, i.e., taking into account integration processes in shipping. Zhykharieva et al (2019) covered the development of Ukraine's transport complex in the processes of international integration, reforming the organizational and economic structure of the management of commercial seaports, as well as factors limiting integration processes in maritime transport and current trends in protectionism in shipping.…”

“…The choice of current and future goals for the development of merchant shipping subsystems is to some extent reflected in a set of indicators that reveal various aspects of the effectiveness of the integration aspects of the development of the maritime trade market (Golubkova et al, 2021) (Fig. 2).…”

“…One of these approaches, tested by scientists and practitioners, is criterionreferenced management (Bazaluk et al, 2022;Golubkova et al, 2021). But the abovementioned effect of strengthening the dynamic nature of changes sets new requirements for mathematical models of maritime industry management and requires new approaches in the use of information systems in the structure of which these models are implemented, which makes relevant the issue of analysis of the application of criteria, development, research and implementation of such models and systems.…”
