A critical analysis imaging system in cystoscopy to replace white light cystoscopy (WLC) should have a diagnostic accuracy, patient safety, cost-effectiveness and should be an easily available technology. The traditional WLC is prone to miss flat lesions such as the carcinoma in situ (CIS) and small papillary lesions.
