Abstract:This research aims to explore the chromium removal from water using copper-based nanoparticles. The nanoparticles were synthesized by hydrothermal method and characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, infrared spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy as well as determination of the specific surface area (SBET) and point of zero charge (PZC). The size and composition of nanoparticles are influenced by the reaction time, organic coating, and oxidizing atmosphere. Sorption experim… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
