Critical‐size defect induces unicompartmental osteoarthritis in a stable ovine knee

Abstract: Animal models simulating osteoarthritis are frequently associated with irreversible changes in biomechanics. Although these models successfully induce osteoarthritis, results of experimental repair procedures are impaired by biomechanical problems.
