Abstract:Balloon mitral valvotomy is an effective procedure for the management of mitral stenosis. Procedural failures were reported due to difficulty in the left ventricle (LV) entry, which were addressed by veno-arterial or reverse looping of the balloon catheter. We are reporting three cases in whom LV entry was succeeded with an Agilis NxT catheter.
