et al.

Abstract: In this article, deep neural network (DNN) and chain parameter methods are used to analyze the crosstalk coupling of a star‐quad and a twisted bundle of twisted wire pairs (TBTWP) cables for different excitations, respectively. A DNN is used to extract the per‐unit‐length (p.u.l) resistance, inductance, capacitance, and conductance (RLCG) parameters at any position for the star‐quad and TBTWP cables. The induced common mode (CM) and differential mode (DM) currents due to crosstalk are calculated by combining t… Show more

“…For finding the matrix V inc which is given in equation ( 35) and (36), we need to compute the x and y components of the line joining the core conductor with the central reference conductor in terms of one variable, which is u as shown in Figure 5. The variable u ranges from zero to s 2 which is the total distance between core conductor and central reference conductor.…”

“…There are a few design parameters that have a significant impact on the crosstalk between wires, and EMC engineers can change them based on essential design rules. 27,28 Therefore, exploring wire routing rules that consider the uncertainty of neighboring wires 29 to solve EMC problems rather than making customized designs for a particular pair of wires is crucial. Our objective is to establish universal routing rules that can tolerate a certain level of uncertainty in the environment.…”

“…In engineering, crosstalk estimation is often performed on necessary wires without an in‐depth study of many other wires' parameters. There are a few design parameters that have a significant impact on the crosstalk between wires, and EMC engineers can change them based on essential design rules 27,28 . Therefore, exploring wire routing rules that consider the uncertainty of neighboring wires 29 to solve EMC problems rather than making customized designs for a particular pair of wires is crucial.…”
