Crosstalk between host stress-induced translational control and infection by Porphyromonas gingivalis

Abstract: Periodontitis, a chronic inflammatory gum disease, is caused in part by the periodontopathogen Porphyromonas gingivalis. Infection triggers activation of host inflammatory responses which induce stresses such as oxidative stress.
