Crowdsourcing

Abstract: One of the most common forms of providing a contributed response in a community is crowdsourcing. By this process, groups of individuals come together to provide their insights based on a call from an organization or brand, or even from individuals asking others to contribute. This entry will discuss the concept of crowdsourcing and the various characteristics and types being used in strategic communication today.
