Abstract:SUMMARYMycobacterium tuberculosis causes tuberculosis, a disease that kills over one million people each year. Its cell envelope is a common antibiotic target and has a unique structure due, in part, to two lipidated polysaccharides – arabinogalactan and lipoarabinomannan.
