“…Discrete octahedral molecules, without definite evidence of hydrogen bonding, are found in Ni(etu)aClz (Robinson, Holt & Carpenter, 1967; triclinic and monoclinic polymorphs; etu=ethylene-thiourea), in Ni(pz)4Cl2 (Reimann, Mighell & Maurer, 1967) and Ni(pz)aBr2 (Mighell, Reimann & Santoro, 1969) (pz=pyrazole), in Ni(py)4Clz and Co(py)4Cl z (Porai-Koshits, 1954) (py = pyridine) and in Ni(py)4Brz and Co(py)4Brz (Antsishkina & Porai-Koshits, 1958). An ionic structure is found in Pd(tu)4Cl2 with square planar [Pd(tu)4] z+ cations and CI-anions (Berta, Spofford, Boldrini & Amma, 1970).…”
