The Pbnm symmetry model of GdAlO 3 contains two cationic sites: (i) AlO 6 octahedra site with inversion center, and (ii) GdO 12 polyhedra site without inversion center with Cs point symmetry [17,18]. The spectral property of the Dy 3+ confirms that the Dy 3+ ions occupy the polyhedra of Gd 3+ sites in the GdAlO 3 host lattice.…”
