In this research, BaFe12O19/GO (GO:10%, 20%, 40%, 50%) nanocomposites were synthesized by sol-gel auto combustion method and their structural, optical, magnetic and dielectric properties were investigated. The X-ray diffraction results for all nanocomposites validate the formation of a hexagonal phase of Ba hexaferrite. Measurements of the magnetic hysteresis loop for all composites were conducted at room temperature using a vibrating sample magnetometer. By increasing the percentage of GO, a decrease in the saturation magnetization was observed for the samples. The band gap also decreased with an increase in the percentage of GO. The dielectric constant, loss function and conductivity were also measured for the samples. The nanocomposite sample of BFO-40GO exhibited the highest observed value for real part Modulus.
