Crystal structure of 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene — 3-(sulfonyl-glycine)- benzoic acid —water (0.5:1:3), 0.5C12H12N2 ·C9H8O6N·3H2O

Abstract: Source of material 1,2-Bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene (0.09g, 0.3 mmol), 3-(sulfonylglycine)benzoic acid (0.11 g, 0.5 mmol), and NaOH (0.02 g, 0.5 mmol) were added to water (12 ml) in aT eflon-lined stainless steel reactor. The mixture was heated at 438 Kfor 3days, and then slowly cooled down to room temperature. Colorless crystals of the title compound were obtained.
