Tables 1-3 contain details of the measurement method and a list of the atoms including atomic coordinates and displacement parameters. Source of materialA mixture of the 3-nitro-thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylic acid (21.7 mg, 0.1 mmol) and 10 mL distilled water in a 25 mL Te on-lined autoclave was kept under autogenous pressure at 413 K for 1 days. After cooling to room temperature at a rate of 5K h −1 , light yellow block crystals were collected by ltration and washed with distilled water in 76% yield.
