Crystal Structure of a Polymeric Hg(II) Complex of a Pyridine Containing a Self-Assembling System

Abstract: Recently, we reported on the synthesis of a self-assembling system ligand LH2, 1 and synthesized some of these complexes possessing [pyda·H] + as a counter ion. It is worth noting that we recently succeeded, however, to synthesis and report Bi(III), Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes from LH2. 2 The Bi(III) complex is a polymeric complex, the Zn(II) complex is mononuclear and possesses a [pyda·H] + counter ion, while the Cd(II) complex is binuclear and neutral.
