Crystal structure of catena-bis(μ-4-nitrophenolato)lead(II),Pb(C6H4NO3)2

Abstract: Source of materialA solution (10 ml) of Pb(N0 3 )2 • 4H 2 0 (0.5 mmol) and paranitrophenol (1.0 mmol) in dimethylformamide was slowly added to a solution (10 ml) of 1,4-diazabicyclo[2,2,2]octane (1.0 mmol) in dimethylformamide. The mixture was stirred for two hours and left to stand at room temperature for about five weeks. Yellow block crystals were obtained.
