Crystal structure of dimethylamonium hydrogen 2-propyl-4,5- imidazoledicarboxylate, [C2H8N][C8H9N2O4]

Abstract: C 10 H 17 N 3 O 4 ,monoclinic, P2 1 /n (no. 14), a =9.179Source of material Dimethylamine (0.2 mmol) and 2-propyl-4,5-imidazoledicarboxylic acid (0.2 mmol) were dissolved in methanol (5 ml) and water (10 ml) at room temperature. The single crystals of the title compound were obtained from the solution after five days.
