Abstract:The crystal structures and physical properties of the compounds Ba6Si2−xGexSe12 (x = 0, 0.5, 1, and 1.5) were determined by Rietveld refinements. Synchrotron radiation was used to study the Si/Ge disorder and the disordered Se22− pairs.
