Cobalt I 7200CsLn (Ln6CoI12)2 (Ln: Gd, Er) and (CeI)0.26(Ce6MnI9)2: Two New Structure Types Featuring Ln 6 Z Clusters. -The structures of the title compounds are determined by single crystal XRD. Compounds (V) crystallize in the cubic space group Pa3 with Z = 4 and (IX) in the trigonal space group P3 with Z = 2. Magnetic susceptibility measurements for (Va) show strong intracluster ferromagnetic coupling, but intercluster antiferromagnetic coupling suppresses the susceptibility below 70 K. -(SWEET, L.
